Dr. Stephen H. Root graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1970 and earned his B.S. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1974. He then completed his dental training at Temple University in 1978. He has spent the last 30 years in private practice, first in Ludlow, then in Wilbraham. He also has earned the prestigious MAGD award, given by the academy of General Dentistry after completing a rigorous 1,100 hours of continuing education.,. Dr. Root has been a clinical consultant at the STCC hygiene program for more than 25 years.


Dr. Christopher J. Root graduated as Valedictorian of Ludlow High in 1996, then earned his BA from Dartmouth College in 2000. After completing dental school at the University of Connecticut, he then completed a one year advance general dentistry residency. He then went into private practice in New Hampshire, where he was on the dental staff of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Christopher J. Root is pleased to be back home and practicing in Western Massachusetts.
